Common questions
What do I get without paying? Care profiles, medications, the camera label scan, reminders with Taken and Skip actions, the dose history, the refills view and the caregiver list — all of it, without a purchase.
What does Pro unlock? We are not going to list Pro-only features here, because we will not claim something is behind the paywall unless we have verified that it is. Everything described on this site is available without subscribing. If the in-app purchase screen offers something this page does not mention, email us before you buy and we will tell you exactly what the shipped release does.
Can I share a profile with someone else's phone? No. CareShelf makes no network requests, so nothing is sent anywhere and a caregiver on another device cannot see a profile. The caregiver list is a record you keep on your own phone.
Does CareShelf give medical advice? No. CareShelf helps you track and remember medications. It does not give medical advice, identify medications, check interactions, or tell anyone to change a dose. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about dosing and safety.
A reminder did not appear. Reminders are local notifications. Check iOS Settings → Notifications → CareShelf, and make sure Focus or Do Not Disturb is not suppressing them. Never rely on any app alone for a critical dose.
I bought Pro on another device. Open the purchase screen in CareShelf and tap Restore Purchases.
How do I cancel Pro? Open iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → CareShelf → Cancel.
How do I delete my data? Use Delete all data in Settings, or delete the app from your iPhone. Everything is stored on-device.
