CareShelf: Med Reminders
Every medication, for everyone you look after, on schedule.
CareShelf keeps a medication schedule for each person you look after. Add a medication by typing it or by scanning the pharmacy label with your camera, set daily or specific-weekday reminders with Taken and Skip actions on the notification itself, and track the pill counts you enter so a refill surfaces before you run out. CareShelf does not give medical advice, identify medications, check interactions or tell anyone to change a dose — ask a doctor or pharmacist about dosing and safety.
How It Works
A short, plain-language walkthrough of what the app does and what your first session looks like, so visitors arriving with zero context grasp the value before deciding to download.
Skim the steps below to see how the app fits into your routine, then tap through to the App Store when you're ready to give it a try.
Free
Care profiles, medications, the camera label scan, reminders with Taken and Skip actions, the dose history, the refills view and the on-device caregiver list are all available in the app without a purchase.
Paid
CareShelf lists optional Pro subscriptions in the App Store at US$9.99 per month or US$49.99 per year, each with a 7-day free trial; prices in other countries are set by the App Store. This page deliberately does not advertise a free-versus-Pro feature split, because we will not claim a feature is behind the paywall unless we have verified that it is. Everything described above is available without subscribing. Check the in-app purchase screen for the current terms before you buy, and email us first if anything there is unclear. Subscription options auto-renew unless cancelled in Apple Settings → Subscriptions.
Privacy
CareShelf stores profiles, medications, schedules and dose history on your iPhone. Label scanning uses Apple's on-device Vision OCR on a photo you choose, and reminders are local notifications — the app makes no network requests, so nothing is uploaded and no second device can see a profile. The caregiver list is a record kept on your own phone, not a sharing service. CareShelf uses the camera, photo library and notifications; it does not use location, the microphone or Health data.
